At Rooted Oaks Retreat, we believe spaces carry stories. Ours is one of strength and stillness — rooted like the majestic oaks that surround the property — and one of creativity and renewal, flourishing by the water’s edge.
What began as a family home quickly became a backdrop for photographers, storytellers, and brands seeking something real, timeless, and alive. Now, we open our doors for you to create your own story here.

I'M CAMILLE!
My husband and I moved into Rooted Oaks Retreat in 2013, just as we were preparing to welcome our first child. Not long after, my parents joined us, and in time, two more little ones were added to our family. What started as a home for our growing family has become so much more — a place of gathering, creativity, and joy.
I’m passionate about making others feel at home and giving creators the freedom to bring their vision to life. That’s why we’ve designed Rooted Oaks Retreat with photographers, event hosts, and retreat leaders in mind — offering not just beautiful light and timeless backdrops, but also the extra touches (on-site help, flexible props, curated furniture) that make the experience seamless.
